План-конспект внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку «Mother’s Day»

Класс: 7
Цель: ознакомление с традицией праздновать День Матери в Великобритании, поздравление мам и бабушек в песенной и стихотворной форме на английском языке.
Задачи:
1) Социокультурный аспект: знакомство с одним из праздников Великобритании – Днём матери;
2) Развивающий аспект: развитие познавательной активности детей; развитие фонематического и музыкального слуха, логического мышления, памяти;
3) Воспитательный аспект: воспитывать интерес к занятиям английским языком, любовь к мамам и бабушкам, уважение к их труду.
4)Учебный аспект: формирование грамматических навыков говорения;
Оборудование: Презентация, открытки, сделанные учащимися заранее.

Ход урока
1. Introduction. Постановка цели и задачи.
Учитель: Good morning, children, guests. I am glad to see you.
What day is it today?
What month is it today?
What season is it now?
Do you like spring? Why do you like spring? Do you know some public celebrations
in spring?
Look at the screen. What do you see? Are there cards?
Can you tell us, please, what we're going to talk about today?
We will talk about public celebrations in Russia and Britain. Mother’s day in Britain and in Russia and the 8 th of March in Russia.

What will we do today?
We will compare them and find different and common features.

Children and guests, look there are some cards on your desks.

10. The 8th of March is always celebrated in Russia on the first Sunday in March. .
